Film Screening: Voices from Chernobyl
Svetlana Alexievich earned the Nobel Price in Literature for her book Voices from Chernobyl, an oral history of the tragic power plant explosion and its aftermath. Americas Society, in partnership with the New School, Vera List Center for Art and Politics, presents the 2016 film La Supplication (Voices from Chernobyl) directed by Pol Crutchen, based on Alexievich’s book.
