A Paixão de JL (JL's Passion) by Carlos Nader is a movie about Brazilian artist José Leonilson. In 1990, Leonilson began to record an audio diary on tape cassettes about his emotions, daily life, and events taking place in Brazil and around the world. Over time, the recordings came to hold a new urgency when Leonilson learns that he is HIV positive.
